Dr. Wilson
Dr. Wilson completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Duke University. From there she went on to earn her Master’s in General Psychology at New York University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in neuropsychology, at Fordham University. Dr. Wilson completed her residency in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology at the VA Maryland Healthcare System/University of Maryland Baltimore.
She completed her Fellowship in neuropsychology at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System/Yale University School of Medicine. She completed additional clinical training at the New York University Langone Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, as well as varied inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings where she provided talk therapy and cognitive remediation services.
Dr. Wilson served as the Director of the Department of Behavioral Medicine at Western State Hospital in Staunton, VA and Co-Director of the WSH/UVA Neuropsychology Fellowship Program before opening her private practice. She continues to provide consultative services to Western State Hospital and maintains her appointment at the University of Virginia. Dr. Wilson has served on the Virginia Brain Injury Council since 2016, serving as Vice chair from 2017-2019 and Chair from 2019-2021. She is also currently Co-Chair of the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.
